Surfer Ken Bradshaw Chats w/ Jim Clash About His 85-ft. Wave

On Jan. 28, 1998, sufer Ken Bradshaw rode an 85-foot wave face at Outside Log Cabins reef in Waimea Bay off Oahu's North Shore, a world record. Bradshaw tells Forbes Adventurer Jim Clash about his ride on "Big Wednesday." The exploits were part of the PBS documentary "Condition Black" and the IMAX movie "Extreme." (Our photos show him on a 65-foot face; the 85-footer was 4 hours earlier and unfortunately wasn't captured on film.)
